About DiveSheet.

Hi, I'm Kevin. I dove in high school and later coached high school diving.

I built DiveSheet because I couldn't find a good dive sheet online. I started with a spreadsheet for my own team, then turned it into a website so I could fill out sheets faster and other people could use it too.

That's pretty much how DiveSheet started.

The dive list and its degree-of-difficulty values come from the NFHS One Meter Diving Table, the table high school officials score from. An automated test compares every dive and DD on this site against a copy of that table whenever the code changes, so a typo in the list gets caught before it ships. A second test tracks where the NFHS table differs from the World Aquatics table it is based on, so a change to either one gets noticed.

The meet formats and sheet checks follow NFHS high school rules: 6-dive and 11-dive sheets, the 1.8 DD cap on voluntary dives, the minimum total DD by division, and the group requirements. The three dives NFHS removed from its table for safety in 2023 (104A, 304A, and 402A) are flagged and can't be added to a sheet.
